Oregon Army National Guard Soldiers with the 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) maintain a secure perimeter to protect notionally injured Soldiers against rioting role players during the final day of their Culminating Training Exercise (CTE) at Fort Cavazos, Texas, Sept. 14, 2024. The role players simulate a chaotic riot scenario by throwing tennis balls, wielding signs, and loudly protesting. The 41st IBCT is training for real-world scenarios in preparation for their upcoming deployment in support of Kosovo Forces as part of Operation Joint Guardian.
