NORTHFIELD, Vermont (September 18, 2024) Vice Adm. John Gumbleton, commander, Task Force 80 and deputy commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFFC), answers questions from engineering and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps students at Norwich University, during a New England Community Outreach event. Gumbleton, a 1989 Norwich University graduate, spoke with several university organizations during the visit to his alma mater. USFFC is responsible for manning, training, equipping, and providing combat-ready forces forward to numbered fleets and combatant commanders around the globe.
