A Royal Thai Armed Forces service member with the Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC) inserts a .50 caliber cartridge into a de-arming tool during an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) level 3 course at Ta Mor Roi Demolition Range, Prasat District, Surin Province, Thailand, Aug. 2, 2024. Royal Thai and U.S. forces work together to train TMAC students on EOD level 3 in order to assist TMAC’s mission of becoming landmine free. This partnership is aligned with the U.S. Department of Defense’s humanitarian mine action program, which assists partnered nations affected by landmines, explosive remnants of war, and the hazardous effects of unexploded ordnance.
