Trace Head gives remarks during the ship’s 27th birthday celebration, held on the barge mess decks, Sept. 20. During the ceremony, the ship’s heritage committee read a brief history of the ship, the crew sang happy birthday, and the oldest and youngest members participated in a ceremonial cake cutting.
