Kentucky Army National Guard Soldiers from Warrant Officer Candidate School Class 24-001, raise their right hand to take the oath of office in the Kentucky Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort on September 14, 2024 during their graduation ceremony. Prior to the rotunda ceremony, the candidates, 238th command team, cadre, and staff gathered in Frankfort cemetery at Daniel Boone’s grave site where they took the Militia Oath of Kentucky, a historic pledge taken by commissioned officers in the Kentucky National Guard similar to the oath of commission, adding in the historic dueling clauses, similar to the oath that elected officials take according to the Kentucky Constitution.
