    APRA HARBOR, Guam (Sept. 26, 2024) U.S. Navy Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Robert Green, front, from Baltimore, and Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Jesus Duran, from Clarksville, Arkansas, heave a line during sea-and-anchor detail on the fantail aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) as the ship prepares to departs Apra Harbor, Guam, after a brief stop for parts, Sept. 26, 2024. Theodore Roosevelt, flagship of Carrier Strike Group 9, is currently conducting routine operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. U.S. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy’s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
