    171st Air Refueling Wing

    A Guardsmen assigned to the 171st Air Refueling Wing’s Fatality Search and Recovery Team prepares to leave the Pittsburgh base and by travel by convoy to Western North Carolina, Oct. 2, 2024, to provide support after Hurricane Helene caused mass destruction and flooding in the Southeast United States. The 171st sent 11 members from the FSRT and two Guardsmen from the Chaplains Office.
