The 163d Medical Group and 452nd Medical Group bioenvironmental engineering teams conduct joint training with Edward Ericson, trainer, on the Symetrica Verifinder, a radiological isotope identification device, March Air Reserve Base, Calif., Sept. 15, 2024. The Verifinder can detect radiation present in a more portable user friendly way to meet antiterrorism deterrence needs. This device is easier to use while in personal protective equipment, as well as matching state and federal agency standards of radiation detection providing increased safety and security of our Airmen.
