Sgt. Justin M. Pack, a station combat correspondent, performs a 50-meter swim with full gear during the intermediate portion of the basic swim qualification at the IronWorks Gym swimming pool here Jan. 31. The Intermediate level swim qualification involved a 50-meter swim with full gear, a dive from the tower followed by a 250-meter swim, flotation techniques and shedding gear in the deep end of the pool.
