The Water Treatment Plant in Erwin, Tennessee, remains inoperable Oct. 11, 2024, from when the Nolichucky River flooded the area during Hurricane Helene. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is assessing water and water treatment facilities in the counties affected by flood damage. USACE remains committed to supporting these assessments through strong partnerships with local and federal agencies.
