    III Marine Expeditionary Force   

    U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Jialong Li eats a roasted cockroach as part of a jungle survival class Feb. 17 at Camp Akatosrot, Phitsanulok province, Kingdom of Thailand, as part of exercise Cobra Gold 2013. Li is an infantryman with Baker Company, 2nd Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division. Exercise Cobra Gold includes humanitarian and civic assistance projects, a staff exercise and field training exercises. Joint and multinational training is vital to maintaining the readiness and interoperability of all participating military forces.
