Royal Thai Army Special Forces Master Sgt. 1st Class Thong Nimnuan, center, demonstrates how to safely handle a cobra during a jungle survival class Feb. 17 at Camp Akatosrot, Phitsanulok province, Kingdom of Thailand, as part of exercise Cobra Gold 2013. Royal Thai Army students are with 7th Regiment, 7th Division, 3rd Region. U.S. soldiers are with Baker Company, 2nd Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division. Exercise Cobra Gold is the largest multinational exercise in the Asia-Pacific region and provides the Kingdom of Thailand, United States, Singapore, Japan, Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and observer nations, an opportunity to maintain relationships and enhance interoperability.
