AIEA (Oct. 19, 2024) Machinist’s Mate 3rd Class Angelica Baleros, a Sailor assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Carl M. Levin (DDG 120), picks up trash along the Pearl Harbor Bike Path that runs along Pearl Harbor's historic waterfront in Aiea, Oct. 19, 2024. About 120 Navy and civilian volunteers participated in the clean-up effort, which is part of Laulima Navy, an initiative celebrating 250 acts of voluntary community service in Hawaii leading up to the Navy's 250th birthday in October 2025. Laulima, a Hawaiian value meaning "many hands working together," embodies the Navy's commitment to support local communities in Hawaii.
