AIEA (Oct. 19, 2024) Rear Adm. Stephen Barnett, commander, Navy Region Hawaii, welcomes Sailors and civilian volunteers from commands and components in Hawaii before they start cleaning the Pearl Harbor Bike Path that runs along Pearl Harbor's historic waterfront in Aiea, Oct. 19, 2024. The volunteer effort is part of Laulima Navy, an initiative celebrating 250 acts of voluntary community service in Hawaii leading up to the Navy's 250th birthday in October 2025. Laulima, a Hawaiian value meaning "many hands working together," embodies the Navy's commitment to support local communities in Hawaii. (U.S. Navy photo by Lydia Robertson)
