SANTA RITA, Guam (Oct. 21, 2024) – Kaitlin Kleiber, military policy advisor to U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, visited Naval Base Guam (NBG) as part of a staff delegation, Oct. 21. Kleiber and the delegation met with the NBG Executive Officer Cmdr. Phil Smith, and conducted an in-depth tour of the installation, which highlighted key military construction projects and the Defense Commissary Agency’s Cold Storage facility. The visit also focused on services that enhance the quality of life for military personnel and their families. Discussions centered on regional security, infrastructure development, and Guam’s critical role in supporting U.S. defense operations across the Indo-Pacific region. (U.S. Navy photo by William J.
