NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO (Oct. 25, 2024) - Vice Adm. Brendan McLane, Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, presents an award to Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Jack H. Lucas (DDG 125) for the ship's first place win at Surface Line Week 2024. The weeklong competition, hosted by Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, highlights professional and athletic skills while enhancing Surface Warfare culture, connectedness, and team building among the Surface Force.
