Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 compact and level the select fill for the concrete pad at the job site of the Aplaya Elementary School. NMCB 5 Construction Civic Action Detail (CCAD) Philippines is constructing a two-classroom masonry building for the school in Barangay Tagburos. Seabees conduct CCAD operations like this one in order to demonstrate U.S. commitment, develop enduring relationships, improve public infrastructure for the delivery of essential services, and strengthen local institutions with host and partner nations around the world.
