NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Sicily (Oct. 28, 2024) – Senior leadership from U.S. Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station (NCTS) Sicily, Public Works Department Sigonella, Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella and NCTS Naples officially break ground during a ceremony for NCTS Sicily’s new headquarters on NAS Sigonella, Oct. 28, 2024. NCTS Sicily, strategically positioned in the central Mediterranean, executes continuous operations to ensure access and superiority within the electromagnetic and cyberspace domains for U.S, NATO, and coalition forces operating in the U.S. European Command, U.S. Africa Command, and U.S. Central Command areas of responsibility.
