U.S. Air Force tactical air control party Airmen from the Blue Lightning Squadron, 19th Air Support Operations Squadron based in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, conducted target acquisition and reconnaissance training missions at Idaho's Saylor Creek Bombing Range with Mountain Home Air Force Base’s 336th Fighter Wing and partnered with the Idaho National Guard’s 183rd Assault Helicopter Battalion to assist in completing their training missions by utilizing UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. The Saylor Creek Bombing Range and Orchard Combat Training Center ranges are associated with both the Idaho National Guard and Mountain Home Air Force Base as an international destination to provide premier joint combined arms training.
