NAHA AIR BASE, Okinawa (Oct. 28, 2024) – Leaders from Commander, Task Force 75 met with Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, including Lt. Gen. Yamane, Commander General, Ground Component Command, and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force leadership to discuss airfield damage repair as part of future interoperability opportunities during Exercise Keen Sword 25, Oct. 28, 2024. Keen Sword is a biennial, joint and bilateral field-training exercise involving U.S. military and Japan Self-Defense Forces personnel, designed to increase readiness and interoperability while strengthening the ironclad U.S.-Japan alliance.
