Tom Morley, a mechanical engineer technician at the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime’s Mechanical Product Test Center in Columbus, Ohio, uses a Coordinate Measuring Machine to dimensionally test parts that DLA buys. The Mechanical Testing Center is one of DLA's three PTCs Product Test Centers and the team ensures performance can be measured through effective and efficient workload metrics to assure cost recovery and improve technical development for increased efficiency and customer satisfaction.
