George Gillette, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) Partnership and Innovation deputy director, briefs family members on DPAA partnerships and innovative technologies, practices and procedures that are used for investigation and recovery missions during a Family Member Update (FMU) in Portland, Maine, Nov. 2, 2024. FMU’s provide family members with formal presentations, question and answer sessions, and case summary discussions designed to keep them informed of DPAA’s mission to account for those still missing while addressing their individual needs.
