Dr. Dawn Berry, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) supervisory research analyst, provides information to family members about DPAA’s process of searching for and identifying the remains of unknown personnel during a family Member Update (FMU) in Portland, Maine, Nov. 2, 2024. FMU’s provide family members with formal presentations, question and answer sessions, and case summary discussions designed to keep them informed of DPAA’s mission to account for those still missing while addressing their individual needs.
