U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Sage Mann, a tactical air operations and air defense technician with the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab, Marine Corps Base Quantico, observes the ocean through binoculars during exercise Keen Sword 25 at the Ie Shima, U.S. Marine Corps Training Facility, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 26, 2024. Mann served as a subject matter expert for the SIMRAD maritime sensor software. Keen Sword is a biennial, joint and bilateral field-training exercise involving U.S. military and Japan Self-Defense Force personnel, designed to increase readiness and interoperability while strengthening the ironclad U.S.-Japan alliance.
