U.S. Airmen and instructors assigned to the 902d Security Forces Squadron review targets during an annual qualification at the Combat Arms Training and Maintenance range at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas, Oct. 21, 2024. The annual qualification is a continuous training requirement designed to ensure Defenders maintain weapons proficiency and stay comfortable with their weapons should they need to use them in the line of duty while ensuring the safety and security of JBSA. CATM instructors evaluate the Defenders on how well they follow instructions and their proficiency firing from a variety of positions and distances. (U.S. Air Force photo by Kathryn R.C. Reaves)
