M4A1 carbine magazines and ammunition are on a table prior to an annual qualification for 902d Security Forces Squadron Airmen at the Combat Arms Training and Maintenance range at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas, Oct. 21, 2024. The annual qualification is a continuous training requirement designed to ensure Defenders maintain weapons proficiency and stay comfortable with their weapons should they need to use them in the line of duty while ensuring the safety and security of JBSA.
