Eleven events were included in the Best Sapper team and ruck competition on Fort Dix at JBMDL for all 1st Army Division East units from 13-14 November. At the recon lane, Soldiers needed to identify location of compound, navigate the terrain surrounding the compound and establish OP locations, gathering and identifying all required observation criteria, then breaking contact while avoiding enemy detection or compromising friendly forces.
