Team Danger Zone, piloted by Bill Palmatary and Bret Gould, gets barraged by water balloon ‘munitions’ as the aircraft carrier-shaped vessel makes its way down the course at the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime’s Navy Regatta Oct. 9 at the Defense Supply Center Columbus’ Eagle Eye Golf Course pond. The vessel was fielded by the DLA Land and Maritime Safety Office. The craft came in second in the championship heat and was chosen as the People’s Champion by employees in pre-race voting.
