Cannon crew members of Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 141st Field Artillery Regiment, 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, better known as the Washington Artillery, fired a 13-round salute honoring the original 13 colonies during the unit’s 186th annual Pass-in-Review ceremony at Jackson Barracks in New Orleans on Nov. 17. This year’s event continued the proud tradition of the oldest field artillery battalion outside the original 13 colonies and served as a change of command, celebrating the accomplishments of outgoing commander Lt. Col. Christian Cannon and welcoming Maj. Michael Lacoste as the new commander. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Staff Sgt. Michael Farrar)
