Recovering Airmen talk with members of the Care Management Team (CMT) to network and discover more resources. When an Airman or Guardian becomes Wounded, Ill, or Injured, the CMT supports both their medical and non-medical needs from the point of injury to reintegration and transition back to military service or civilian life.
The AFW2 CARE Event at Joint Base Andrews and the National Capitol Region is part of the annual recognition for Warrior Care Month. Services recognize the role their Wounded Warrior programs play in the recovery and long-term resiliency of service members and veterans across the DoD.
