Riparian habitat along the Boise River in the Barber Pool Conservation Area (BPCA) is shown. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, in partnership with Boise State University and other agencies held a public scoping meeting to propose restoration efforts as part of the Barber Pool Feasibility Study, at the Barber Park Education and Events Center, Boise, Idaho, Nov. 20. The project, a restoration initiative focused on BPCA, an aquatic and riparian ecosystem spanning over 700 acres, aims to rejuvenate the area’s ecosystems while enhancing public awareness and education.
