Chap. (Capt.) Scott Chambers, the Fort Carson Soldier Recovery Unit command chaplain, uses a telescope and his personal interest in astronomy to teach Soldiers in recovery about our solar system. While assigned to the SRU, Soldiers have the opportunity to take classes to help them in their recovery process, learn a new skill or even find new career paths when their injuries prevent them from continuing to serve in the armed forces.
