U.S. Marines Corps MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 365 (REIN), currently assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), Special Operations Capable (SOC), prepares to land at Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina, following a seven-month deployment to the U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa area of operations, Dec. 3, 2024. Embarked on the Navy’s Wasp Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), the Wasp ARG-24th MEU (SOC) supported U.S., Allied, and partner interests in the region, including the eastern Mediterranean Sea, to promote regional stability and deter aggression.
