Lt. Col. Kazumi Kasai, chief of Camp Asaka medical department, provides insights about the respiration assessment and management in tactical combat casualty care during a trilateral medical training event as part of Yama Sakura 87 held at Camp Asaka, Japan, Dec. 3, 2024. This is the second consecutive year the three Allied nations have conducted the exercise collectively. Exercises like Yama Sakura 87 strengthen our relationships and increase interoperability with Allies and partners through shared experiences and tough, realistic training.
