OCD is the Department of Defense’s longest running humanitarian airlift mission and this year over $117,000 has been raised resulting in 110,000 pounds of donated gifts and supplies. C-130 aircrews from the U.S. 374th Airlift Wing’s 36th Airlift Squadron, the Japanese Air-Self-Defense Force, the Republic of Korea Air Force, and the Royal Canadian Air Force will fly a combined 42 sorties, dropping 220 boxes to 60 islands supporting 22,000 islanders in Micronesia.
