NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY SOUDA BAY, Greece (Dec. 11, 2024) Capt. Stephen Steacy, commanding officer, Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay, reads the citation of a Meritorious Service Medal awarded to Cmdr. James Kotora, outgoing executive officer, NSA Souda Bay, as Adm. Christopher W. Grady, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, pins the award onboard NSA Souda Bay, Dec. 11 2024. Grady was accompanied by United Service Organization (USO) Holiday Tour Live, which provided entertainment to the personnel assigned to the installation. NSA Souda Bay is an operational ashore installation that enables and supports U.S., Allied, Coalition, and partner nation forces to preserve security and stability in the European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility.
