Andy Cohen, the deputy director for finance and treasurer for AER in Alexandria, Va , stresses the importance of the Army Emergency Relief fund at the AER Kick-Off lunch, Feb. 1, at the Nehelani Club, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. AER is a non-profit service providing loans to Army personnel and their families in times of financial difficulty. AER is funded by Soldiers for Soldiers, and has been aiding Soldiers, retirees and their families since 1942.
