    Maj. Gen. John D. Haas, the Adjutant General of Florida, is joined by prominent members of the community and senior leaders of the Florida National Guard to participate in a groundbreaking ceremony at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center in Starke, Fla., Dec. 17, 2024. Florida National Guard’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high-yield Explosive Enhanced Response Force Package held the event to signify the construction of a new administrative building. The new facility augments CERF-P capability by providing work spaces, storage, hygiene amenities and more. Those in attendance during the ceremony included County Commissioner Jim Renninger, Christian Troope, Parker Robinson, Clay County Manager Howard Wannamer, Clay County Economic Development President Crawford Powell and attorney Larry King.
