Naval Facilities (NAVFAC) Southwest and California Energy Commission personnel toured the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) during a visit, Aug. 2, 2024. The teams visited the future grounds of the Naval Innovation Center (NIC) as well as Spanagel Hall, where NAVFAC Southwest Industry Day would be hosted within the next month. The NIC at NPS will be a leading military education facility focused on innovation and experimentation, supporting Navy and Marine Corps warfighting development, and partnering with the defense industry, tech sector, and academia. NPS is located in Monterey and provides defense-focused graduate education, including classified studies and interdisciplinary research, to advance the operational effectiveness, technological leadership and warfighting advantage of the Naval service.
