Commander, DLA Europe & Africa, Army Col. Adrian Sullivan visits with DLA Joint Reserve Force servicemembers and expeditionary civilians during DEFENDER 2024, the largest U.S. Army-led exercise in Europe, May 14. Agency personnel from DLA Disposition Services and DLA Distribution established field operating sites in Germersheim, Germany, in early May to gain proficiencies in providing expeditionary logistics support in the European theater. DLA Europe & Africa integrates and synchronizes the full capabilities of DLA’s six major sub-commands across a complex environment covering nearly 56 million square miles and 104 nations.
