Marines and Sailors assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion (CLB) 26, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), along with family members, stand in a final formation to receive words of encouragement, prior to their deployment, from Lt. Col. Kevin G. Collins, CLB 26 commanding officer, aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 5, 2013. The 26th MEU operates continuously across the globe, providing the president and unified combatant commanders with a forward-deployed, sea-based quick reaction force.
