Joseph Cahill, commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, left, present an award for surface forces shiphandler of the year to Lt. Michael Holder, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John Basilone (DDG 122), at the Surface Navy Association’s (SNA) 37th National Symposium. The symposium brings together joint experts and decision-makers in the military, industry, and Congress to discuss how the Surface Force is a critical element of national defense and security.
