U.S. Marines with 1st Distribution Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, and 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division detach an M777A2 lightweight 155 mm howitzer from a medium tactical vehicle at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Jan. 14, 2025. Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 364, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing; 1st DSB; and 2nd Bn., 11th Marines executed a dual-point external lift exercise to enhance logistical proficiency, strengthening the ability to support the Marine Expeditionary Force by efficiently distributing personnel, equipment, and supplies.
