A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 364, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing lifts an M777 towed M777A2 lightweight 155 mm howitzer at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Jan. 14, 2025. VMM-364; 1st Distribution Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group; and 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division executed a dual-point external lift exercise to enhance logistical proficiency, strengthening the ability to support the Marine Expeditionary Force by efficiently distributing personnel, equipment and supplies.
