SAN DIEGO (Jan. 3, 2025) Cmdr. Elizabeth E. McMullen, native of Lynn, Massachusetts, provides her final remarks as commanding officer of Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Southwest during a change of command and retirement ceremony on the USS Midway Museum ship flight deck, January 3, 2025. Cmdr. Joseph T. Gilligan, native of Long Beach, California, relieved McMullen as commanding officer. NTAG Southwest’s area of responsibility encompasses more than 210,000 square miles covering southern California, southern Nevada and western Arizona. Headquartered at Naval Base Point Loma, the command has 43 recruiting stations with a mission to attract the highest quality candidates to assure the ongoing success of America’s Navy.
