250114-N-JM360-2002 CHINHAE, South Korea (Jan. 14, 2025) – Builder Constructionman Hunter Abbott, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 Detachment Chinhae, receives a commanding officer’s challenge coin for demonstrating initiative and determination to expand his knowledge of his rate. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations and supporting major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility.
