Airman 1st Class Nicholas Ellwood and Staff Sgt. Ronnie James, 777th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron loadmasters, wait for cargo and passengers to be loaded onto a C-130 Hercules during a combat mission in Southwest Asia, May 7. The 777 EAS personnel estimate they have prevented approximately 10,000 convoy vehicles and about 27,000 servicemembers from traveling along improvised explosive device laden Iraqi roads since the squadron stood up in January 2006. This was accomplished by providing air transport by a C-130, the 'work horse' of the Air Force fleet. Ellwood and James are deployed from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark.
