Col. Donald Kimminau, 332nd Expeditionary Operations Group deputy commander, and Capt. Jesse Caldwell, 777th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron aircraft commander, look on as cargo is brought up to the aircraft for loading in Southwest Asia, May 7. The 777 EAS personnel estimate they have prevented approximately 10,000 convoy vehicles and about 27,000 service members from traveling along improvised explosive device laden Iraqi roads since the squadron stood up in January 2006. This was accomplished by providing air transport via C-130 aircraft, the 'work horse' of the Air Force fleet. Kimminau is deployed from Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., and Caldwell is deployed from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark.
