Col. Timothy Hickman, garrison commander, and Veronica Fields-Cox, education services officer, cut the ribbon to officially reopen the Fort Jackson Education Center Jan. 15, 2025. The center had been closed for renovations to its heating and cooling systems, as well as improvements to its floors, latrines and elevator.
