U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Chance Thigpen, an Atlanta, Georgia native, an infantry Marine with 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, runs toward an objective during platoon attacks as part of Integrated Training Exercise 1-25 at Range 410A, Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Jan. 20, 2025. Range 410A prepares units for future conflicts, where small-unit leaders will play a crucial role in mission success by demonstrating adaptability, resourcefulness, and decisive action in disaggregated and austere environments with limited resources and challenging conditions.
